GLEN COVE PROPERTY OWNERS

This site is dedicated to serving all Glen Cove Property Owners and Residents

INTRODUCTION

The GCPO.US website stands for “Glen Cove Property Owners.., Us”.

It was created as a venue for property owners to freely discuss any issue that they might have. The impetus for its creation was the concerns that many owners have expressed, in that they felt the association we are all tied to in our restrictive covenants, the GCPOA, is not adequately representing the best interest of all of the Glen Cove property owners, or its residents.

The GCPO.US objective is not to replace the GCPOA, but to act as  a guard against what is being perceived by many as neglect, secrecy, and manipulation of the GCPOA.

In this introduction, we will not go into specifics of how the GCPOA is being run. Your voices and votes will expose and correct those matters…, after all, we the owners control the GCPOA, the GCPOA is not supposed to control us.

You will be able to monitor the GCPOA  website by clicking this link, or through the  helpful links to the left below, without having to leave this website.

The GCPOA website is not  very interactive, except for giving you the ability to send an email to an unidentified  email address, or for those who control it to proclaim whatever they want through the website. It is highly subject to manipulation and false narratives by those who control it. Members do not know that other members  may be voicing the same concerns that they too may have, because complaints go into a “black hole” and they do not see “the light of day”.

The goal  of our GCPO  website, is to create one that is controlled by all of the Glen Cove Property Owners, not by a select few. One that is open, informing, thought provoking, and inspiring.

A place where every voice and concern can be heard.

There will be an open GCPO Forum, where anyone can make their concerns heard.

Anyone and everyone will be able to see and read the forums, but you must be registered, and sign in, to be able to make comments on what folks are talking about, or to create new topics for discussion. Only Glen Cove property owners, and/or residents may post replies or create new topics. There will be a registration form to send to the GCPO.US administrator to grant a username and password for any property owner or resident to participate. Please participate.., Your voices and opinions matter!

If anyone has a concern that they are uncomfortable posting on the forum, they may write an email directly to the editor about it , or use the form on the Contact Us page, and we may be able to broach the subject in an editorial, in a manner that does not disclose the person or persons who inquired about it.

We will have periodic editorials, and we anticipate a section for the Glen Cove Social Committee to make announcements and post pictures of events. Maybe an “Items For Sale” and a “Real Estate For Sale” section,  a Trades and Services section, or perhaps a section to send in pictures of your memories or thoughts about your times at Glen Cove. We will consider anything you might want to see if you want to send suggestions to the editor.

Watch for new links in the GCPO Link section to the right below as more features are added.

We are “under construction”, and there may be a few “glitches” along the way, but we will work through them and hopefully create something everyone will be happy with.

In closing, this website is for you.., the Glen Cove property owners, residents who are not owners, friends and neighbors. A place where you will have a say in your community.

The Floor is yours!

Our glen cove park. the centerpiece and foundation of our community.

Glen Cove was founded by the Merjos family in 1968 as an affordable waterfront family, and retirement community. The river and canal front properties offered waterfront access and beauty to their owners, and the Glen Cove Park was created and centrally located so all roads lead to it,  bestowing the same waterfront access and beauty to the inland property owners, and all of Glen Cove.

The park, the foundation of our community, is under siege by those who would have it for themselves.

Please follow the articles that speak to this important topic, so that you can voice your opinions, and preserve our community.

You can see and view the park by clicking on the “view larger map” to the right.

Your opinions, voices, and votes matter!
